Our take
The SMF03 is the mixer you buy partly because it looks fantastic. Under the 50s styling is a capable 800W planetary that whips and mixes well; it isn't the strongest for heavy dough and it's priced for the design, but if you want a stand mixer that's also a kitchen centrepiece, this is it.
